Chakra, Energy Flow, Balance...
According to the Indian-Hindu tradition, chakras are energy centres in our subtle or energetic body. Depending on the school and the philosophy one follows, the number of chakras varies. The common practice refers to the seven major chakras that are located along the vertebral spine, from the coccyx or tailbone, to the top (crown) of the head.
Chakras are characterised by an energy flow that spreads from the centre of one´s body, outward from the spine to the front and the back of the body. Much like the different organs that function in the human body, so the chakras reflect different aspects in one´s body, mind and spirit. Chakras are also connected to specific organs and endocrine glands, which may affect one´s general health.
BENEFITS: By focusing attention on specific chakras, areas of unbalance can be shifted to their optimal status, restoring health and wellbeing where physical, emotional and spiritual disease was present.
